I am honored to seek your support in my candidacy for the Colorado State House.
My journey is one that epitomizes the power of hard work, determination, and the belief that every individual, regardless of their background, can make a significant impact.
I have been effective in my service to the people of Thornton through unwavering dedication, and it is this same commitment that I promise to bring to the state Capitol.
I was a high school dropout. A teenage mother who dropped out of high school and worked to make a better life for my daughter. However, my story doesn’t end there. Through sheer determination and grit, I waited tables and paid my way through Aims Community College where I then went on to obtain my doctorate at the University of Northern Colorado and a law degree at the University of Denver. Today, I am a successful attorney fighting for the rights and well-being of everyday people like you and me.
I've lived the struggles and triumphs that many of you have experienced. It's this shared experience that fuels my passion to fight for the issues that matter most to us.
I bring to Adams County not only a proven track record of effectiveness – fighting for the underserved, taking on the bully block of five to support LGBTQ rights, and to support quality education and upward mobility for all Adams County. My vision for Colorado is one of inclusivity, opportunity, and progress. I am here to amplify the voices of those who feel unheard, to champion the rights of every citizen, and to work tirelessly to deliver results that matter to you.
Adams County deserves a representative who understands the value of hard work, who has faced challenges head-on, and who will fight with unwavering determination for the betterment of our community. I am that candidate.
